The founder's story

Why Jeannie founded The Zebra Club

When Jeannie began working with people with hEDS and HSD, the same story kept coming up. They had tried gyms, physio and Pilates. They had been told to get stronger and push through. Most of them had been made worse.

The problem was not effort. It was that nothing had been built for their bodies.

In 2019, Jeannie founded The Zebra Club to change that: to make the Integral Movement Method accessible to everyone who needed it, not just the clients she could see in person.

About Jeannie

Who is Jeannie Di Bon?

Jeannie Di Bon is a movement therapist and hypermobility specialist with 18 years of clinical experience working one-to-one with thousands of people with hEDS, POTS and MCAS. She holds an MSc in Pain Management and has lived experience of all three conditions herself.

The Integral Movement Method was born from this experience, and then refined over 18 years of clinical practice and peer-reviewed research. It is the method that worked when nothing else did.

I spent years being told to push through, to strengthen the muscles around the joints, to just keep going. None of it worked. Most of it made me worse. The method I now teach is the one I had to build for myself — and then refine, over 18 years, with thousands of clients living with hEDS, HSD, POTS, MCAS and chronic pain."
